Unlimber

Post by thesignaller »

Just want to check on m doing it right. 🤔

Flak 88 & tow arrives from reserves (1940s scenario 3)

It’s 1 order to arrive and move on given to the tow, does this move normally 2d6 or the reserve move 3d6 (or optional which)

Then the tow needs a 2nd order to unlimber? Could I use a company commander order to do this? (And possible extra orders)

Then gun can be given an order to fire? Can all this be done in same turn?

Thanks

If you are using just 1 Order to bring on your 88mm, it's a standard 2D6 move onto the table.
Using the Reserves Action/move costs you 2 Orders but you can then use 3D6 movement. (See p36 & 9.6 p42.)

Then the tow needs a 2nd order to unlimber? Could I use a company commander order to do this? (And possible extra orders)

Yes, a complete movement allowance is required to unlimber and set up a heavy gun. You can use a Company Commander Order/Action to do this.

Then gun can be given an order to fire? Can all this be done in same turn?

All units can move and fire, (See 8.3 p32) which includes unlimbering. However as the gun has "moved" it will incur the movement negative modifier to hit.
