Re: Tank Fire Twice in Phase

What scale minis are you using?
They are 15mm - BF and Peter Pig infantry, mixed bag of 'I can't remember' for the vehicles.

Re: Tank Fire Twice in Phase

...lovely long table there! It really feels expansive. Thanks. Two factors critical to the table impact: 1) An extra foot to the standard length (7 instead of 6) and 1.5 to the width (as far as I can reach!) means over half again the square footage available. Of course, much of the action in the ga...

If You Survive... operation Cobra, 26 July 44

Beyond the usual desire to get toys on the table, I used this scenario to tackle some terrain (town/ruins, stream, and craters) as well as deploy a fair chunk of armor in a Chain of Command game. https://brawlfactory.files.wordpress.com/2021/07/move-down-to-stream-1.jpg?resize=219%2C219 https://braw...

Re: Tank Fire Twice in Phase

The Sherman got the first shot but missed. The MkIV fire was inconclusive (0 net hits), but the German interrupt in the following American phase scored 4 net hits and 'boom' went the Sherman.

Tank Fire Twice in Phase

Another armor question... Situation = German AT gun deploys in garden corner and fires at Sherman on road, triggering overwatch return fire. Next, a MkIV moves from cover and fires on the same tank. The U.S. player (Big CoC armor platoon cmdr) has a CoC die and wants to interrupt/fire at the MkIV be...

Tank Sr Ldr deployment

If a tank platoon's Sr.Ldr is on the table, do the off-table tanks in the platoon have to roll 4+ to deploy?

Re: 3+ teams by eachother being shot at?

Not totally sure, but...

I think the sharing of hits only occurs among teams within 4" of the target team. In the case of three teams in a line, if one of the end teams is targeted then the team on the opposite end of the line does not suffer/share the effects of the attack.

Re: O' Group with 28mm figs

My off-the-cuff, one-cup-of-coffee thoughts. The main difficulty stems from the footprint of the figures/terrain relating to the ground scale (1:1000). It's possible to do infantry units by having a single figure represent a section (rifle or MG), and a BUA (village or town) could be a single buildi...

Re: New to the game. Entrenchments: Markers or Terrain Pieces?

In a manner similar to casualty removal in, say, IABSM, larger teams can be accommodated by using a mix of models* that fit one, two, or three figures in the necessary number -- IMO, it looks better on the table having a random cluster of such 'holes' than a single, long line. *I just made simple ho...

Re: Deploying off a CP

Given the ground scale of ~1/1000, an important variable in cases like this would be the stand size used as well as how the BUA model accommodates them. It's possible that the inability to place the stands into the desired location was inhibited by the gaming pieces themselves instead of the rules? ...
