This is an utterly enthralling series, and its having a massive impact on my motivation to just get out there and play (my Japanese boys are reaping the benefits too, by getting painted at a rate of knots ..... finally).

I have to admit, I need to finish this series sharpish as a) I have other things to do, like finish the lists updates, and b) this seems to be putting people off the rules. 28mm because of Bolt Action. I will still play BA because I have some mates that do, but I very much prefer CoC. I agree that 15mm would be better scale for CoC, but I don't see me changing scale - way too much invested in figures and terrain. Ditto, ditto, and ditto. :o And because almost all game...

Excellent reads, and despite the one daft comment from a fully paid up member of life's peanut gallery, many of the numerous lessons expounded within the articles are equally applicable in a lot more games than just CoC (and a lot more periods than merely the mid C20).

My Japanese officer pretty much stands out as he is in shirt sleeves, and is charging waving his katana over his head, but every NCO has been modelled in various poses but all pointing forwards, as they are obviously far less distinct from the rank and file.
